Buddy – Looking for a Second Chance
Buddy, was Aiko, was adopted from a pound in the North of Spain after spending two years there.
Very sadly, he has displayed some fear based issues within his new environment and his adopters have made the difficult decision to hand him back to us.
They say ‘He is a lovely good boy who will be the best dog anyone could have, he just needs time in a home were he feels safe. He is a really handsome boy who has lost his excess weight and is now fitter and healthier and loves veggies with his dinner. He loves his walks and loves running around in a secure field. He likes playing with his doggy sister and is very patient with her. He does however, have some trust issues and and can display fear based aggression around strangers, particularly men. He can also be reactive with other dogs at times. Despite his trust issues, he is desperate to be loved and craves affection, but also likes time alone when he feels overwhelmed.
We want to find a a new home for Buddy. He deserves a lovely home and loving family who will work with him so he can become a celebrated pet in the family.
We feel that a home, without young children, where Buddy can be the only pet or share with another female dog would be best. He would like a quiet, rural home with experienced dog owners who would be prepared to help him overcome his issues.

Give him a home and he will be your best friend
Amigo arrived at the pound in March 2018 and was approximately 9 years old on arrival. He is a large male Labrador who was handed into the pound by his owner.
Height: approximately 65cm Weight: approximately 35kg
Another loyal companion dumped at the pound during his twilight years. Who knows why. Maybe he got in the way, maybe they bought a younger version, maybe they got bored of him. What we do know is that poor Amigo does not deserve to be in the pound and is finding the whole situation very stressful and traumatic. He is a large, strong dog who will need to be placed with someone with experience. But he is a good boy and should be easy to train and really all he wants is to play, go for walks, eat, sleep and cuddle. Not too much to ask considering what he will give back in return.
Amigo is available for adoption in Germany, UK, Sweden, Finland, Holland, Spain and many other countries. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment.
Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females. Adoption costs to the UK £390, this includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier(using the TRACES system) by road direct to your door. We sort all the arrangements for you.
