Pegaso **ADOPTED**
Dumped for being too big, can you believe that?
I was no longer wanted, I was no longer a cute little puppy, I was a young dog, just starting out in life, I had lots of energy and a whole zest for what was to come, it was an exciting time, I was having fun until I was dumped at the pound. I had done nothing wrong, all I had done was do what dogs do naturally, I had grown into a young dog.
I have stopped growing but I still have a great zest for life, I still have lots of playtime left in me, I still want a family I can play with and who want to play with me, who can take me out on runs in the park, in the forest, on the beach...well anywhere, anywhere I can stretch my legs really, I don't mind. Then after we have tired each other out we can go home, have something to eat and then sit and cuddle...I love cuddles, I also love other dogs and people too.
Please tell me you love these things too, please tell me you want the same thing, please tell me we are the perfect match.
If you are looking for a dog full of joy and energy and loves people. Then look no further than Pegaso.
He arrived at the pound in 2014 and was approximately 2 years old on arrival and weighs about 35 Kg, standing at 60 cm tall.
Pegaso will need an experienced owner as he is a strong dog and can be a bit bossy around other dogs. With people, well he is just a giant baby. He hides in a corner when he has to have his medication but doesn't mind you putting it in the back of his mouth and chomping on a sausage afterwards!
This is an update on Pegaso who was lucky enough to be invited to attend the SSD Dog Show in October 2017 - he was an absolute star! Even though he hadn't been out of the pound since he arrived 4 years ago, he happily went in a car for the first time, walked around the streets and took the whole busy event completely in his stride.
His handler and great friend was delighted and said there had been no bad behaviour at all and that he had been absolutely fantastic. Pegaso even won a prize for good behaviour, he really enjoyed his day out but sadly at the end it was back to the pound for Pegaso.
Please consider giving this friendly, well behaved chap a loving home, something he desperately craves you, won't be disappointed.
