SALSA – CONFRONTING HER FEARS

Salsa arrived at the pound terrified of the world around her, scared to come out of her cage for fear what may happen to her. She was happy to invite other dogs into her cage and share her space with them and would creep out now and then when volunteers arrived. Her lucky day arrived when the threat of flooding arrived yet again and she was taken, with her timid friend Matilde, by their guardian angel into a foster home. Since then she has gone from strength to strength, learning to trust and even enjoy strokes. She’s learnt to walk on a lead, goes to the toilet outside, and knows what the sofa is for! She will need a family experienced with scared, traumatized dogs and needs to be homed with other dogs to help build her confidence. She’s a beautiful girl who has so much love to give.
